I thought I’d start the week of right…. by sharing a yummy treat! Hope y’all had a super weekend! Our little man’s birthday is coming up this week so I was busy planning his party! I really enjoy planning our children’s birthday parties; from food to decorations to décor. And I just might be serving these little treats to at his party too… with different coloured sprinkles of course!
Here’s what you’ll need:
– bananas (firm)
– whipped cream
– melted chocolate
Depending on the size of your bananas, cut them into thirds or quarters. Leave the peel on. Using the small end of a melon scoop, scoop out a tiny bit of the banana. Set aside or eat as your making these 🙂 Next, remove the peel from the banana. Dip one end of the banana into the melted chocolate and then dip into sprinkles. I set mine on a plate lined with wax paper and popped them into the freezer for 3 minutes. Once they hardened, I scooped some vanilla icecream into the cavity of the banana and topped it with whipped cream. Add and cherry on top and you have a super cute, bite-sized banana split!
Our kids thought these were the neatest little treats!! Perfect for after school or anytime snacking!
Hope you all have a wonderful week! Don’t forget to come back on Wednesday for our monthly challenge! A group of my blogging friends and I are sharing our “Plumbing Pieces” projects! Also, I’d love for you to follow along with me on Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook!
