Homemade Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

Homemade Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade

I hope your week’s been really great! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen that our little sweethearts have been at “Camp Grandparents & Auntie” for the past week and yesterday I came to my parents’ home to spend a week here also. My husband and I missed them terribly but they really do have a blast with Auntie and their grandparents! They must have gone to the pool or waterparks every day! also I think my husband and I will never really know how much candy they ate and how late they stayed up! ha! Oh well…. that’s summertime, eh? Hope you’ve been making some fabulous memories too!

I’d love to share my new favourite drink today! It’s been kicking around Pinterest forever and of course Starbucks sells it but I wanted to share it just in case you haven’t started making your own yet! It is so easy to make and much cheaper than buying from Starbucks! I love having it handy to sip on during the hot days we’ve been having!

Ingredients

2 Tazo Passion tea bags (bought at Target)

16 oz water

4 oz lemonade (I made my own using Country Time brand)

2 tsp sugar

Directions:

Boil water. Remove from heat add tea bags and sugar. Let sit for 15 minutes. Remove tea bags and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Add 8 oz tea and 2 oz of lemonade per serving. Stir or shake well to mix.

Don’t forget to pin it to remember it :) Have a wonderful rest of the week and hope you enjoy this drink to stay cool!

Until next time,

Kendra

Yum - the perfect refreshing summer drink! And how nice of your parents to host your kiddos for a week - I’m sure they loved it and it’s always nice to have a little break for mom :)

I’m not much of a Starbucks drinker (gasp) so I’ve never tried theirs but your version looks great. I’ve chosen it as one of my features on this week’s Party in Your PJs link party. Thanks for sharing with us :)
