Homemade Chai Frappachino

A deliciously creamy chai drink that’s easy to make at home without spending a fortune at Starbucks!

Our weather outside has been so warm and beautiful and with that comes a craving for anything cold. Popsicles, slurpees and my new favorite drink, frapachinos. A couple of weeks ago when Starbucks had their fraps on for half off I kind of got addicted. Our whole family did. We each have our favorites there and after a trip there one day we decided to try making them at home.

I’m so glad we did. You see…

if you’ve been following my blog for any amount of time you’ll know I love saving money. That’s why my husband and I tackle all these crazy DIY projects like making our own blanket ladder, painting old furniture, making a barndoor out of our deck rails and a million others. In most cases, I’d rather salvage something and make it new again than buy brandnew. So when I stopped and thought about it, I knew we could easily make a chai frap at home! And I’ll show you how!!

Using our Vitamix for this drink really is a breeze! Seriously, you couldn’t make it through a drive-through in the time it takes to make one (or five!!!) of these! (And no, this post isn’t sponsored by Vitamix but I love sharing products we use and love in our home and this is one of favorite small appliances ever! It runs 6 days a week in our home!)

That creamy goodness when you add the milk….Perfectly mixed frappaccino ready to enjoy!

I know my summer needs this delicious drink … whether it’s relaxing on the deck, off to one of the kids’ soccer games or a refresher after mowing the grass, I hope you give it a try!

Another favorite Starbucks knock-off we enjoy is this Passion Tea Lemonade!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! Here’s hoping sunny and warm weather comes your way soon so you can enjoy these drinks! xo
