September has almost come and gone… Can hardly believe October and Thanksgiving will be here soon! I love sharing these post as an update to whats going on around our home!

What I’m wearing: I just bought these boots a few weeks ago and they are my absolute favorites! I wear them to work, out shopping and on Sundays! If you’re looking for a compfy fall boot to wear all day long, these are a dream to wear! I’m also excited for sweaters and scarves and boots! I find these days I have the heat going in the morning and by lunchtime I have the air conditioner on! Glad summer transitions slowly into fall!

What we’re enjoying: We loved celebrating our little girl this month and bought this party pack to help plan our party! I love using emojis when I text and was so happy when our daughter chose this for her theme!

My husband and I are also celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary this month! Last week I shared the perfect gift for my DIY husband and why I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else! I am so thankful for him every.single.day!

What we’re eating: Once fall rolls around, I look forward to comfort foods once again. We’re not the type of people that bbq all year long. Rather, we crave comfort food … like soup and casseroles! I have plenty of delicious recipes on my Pinterest if you want to follow along as I pin! We also love my homemade Baked Oatmeal on chilly fall mornings!! So easy and SO delicious!

What I’m Reading: I just finished this book and will you laugh at me if I tell you I’ve read it more than 6 times?? It’s such a good story about the power of forgiveness and even though I can predict it all by now, I can’t put it down once I pick it up! The Redemption series by Karen Kingsbury is my all-time favorite series of hers if you need a good book (or five!) to cozy up with this fall!

What I’m doing this weekend: We have my daughter’s friends party planned for Friday night and then a little shopping getaway for Saturday! So excited to get away and hopefully pick up some things for the house remodel! And my parents and sister are coming along so we’ll have lotsa fun!

What I’m Planning: Because of the water damage that happened in our home last month, we are now planning a huge room remodel that was totally unexpected! I am excited about it nonetheless and can’t wait to share the details with you next week!!

What I’m looking forward to: I am looking forward SO, SO much to seeing the renovations begin in our home! We had a meeting at your house today and for the first time since the damage happened in early August I came out of our house excited! It is now completely empty. All that’s left to do is ripping out our beautiful hardwood floors that my husband and I worked so hard to refinish. Oh well!! And then we should be ready for the next stage early next week!!!

What I’m shopping for: We’ve started looking at new flooring, paint colors and lightening. What do ya’ll think of this light for our kitchen?

What I’m still loving: This planner is my lifesaver and seriously, if you want to stay organized, check it out! I love all the cute accessories that you can buy to coordinate with it, too!

Thank you all so much for stopping by today, friends! Enjoy the rest of your week!
