The holidays have come and gone and I always find January to be quiet. A time of looking ahead, planning and setting some goals. I think it’s so, so easy to let the weeks and months slip by and before I know it half the year is gone. This year I want to focus more and more on what’s most important in my life and to truly live in the moment!

It’s been a while since I shared a Currently post but one of my goal’s this year is to share them monthly! I also decided to post some monthly goals. I’m usually not one to make new year resolutions but thought if I share some short term goals I might be able to actually get some things done!
What we’re eating… After living without a kitchen sink or countertops for over a month, I am absolutely LOVING cooking in our kitchen again. I’m always soo impressed when you hear of someone renovating and sharing how they cooked in their basement or garage for however long. Well, now I can say I’ve done that too… and it isn’t easy. But we improvised and did whatever we had to do because we were just so happy to be back home! One of our families’ favorite suppers is Roast Beef supper and if you’ve never made Yorkshire Pudding, promise me you’ll try my recipe? It’s the easiest (and best!) everrr!
What we’re shopping for…This amazing tool is one of our very favorites in our home. It runs every.single.morning. That is, until about 2 weeks ago when it suddenly quit on us and our mornings haven’t been the same. Do you have any suggestions what to buy next? I’d love to hear!!!
What I’m planning… we have a birthday boy in our house next month so trying to decide on a friend’s party or a family get-away.
What I’m dreaming about… Our last holiday to Cuba. The beaches, the people, the ocean… we loved it all.
What I’m hoping… if only we could finish up the last list of things from our huge home reno.
Looking forward to… our next home project. There’s lots of planning going on behind the scenes and can’t wait to show you what room’s getting a makeover next!! I’m thinking this light would be the perfect addition!
I know I’m a little late in posting these but thought I’d add them here anyway! I think this will be a fun way to stay on track of things I want to accomplish and cross of my to-do list.
- Work out 3 times weekly
- Unpack 10 more boxes (This might now sound like much, but after starting off with 140+ every one we open and unpack counts!)
